Duke Center for Health Informatics--N493. Introduction to Clinical Research Data Management: Theory and Practice

This graduate course focuses on data collection, tools, systems, and methods used for clinical research. The course is designed to provide a foundation and working knowledge of data management topics relevant to research in health care settings. These include health and research informatics, data collection form design and validation, data standards, choosing and using software for data processing and management, and regulations applicable to research data management. Summer (distance-based) 3 credits.
