In her role as Senior Staff Director, Clinical Research Networks, Jamie Roberts serves the Duke Clinical Research Networks by identifying and facilitating opportunities for collaboration, cooperation and cross-talk that can improve the efficiency of clinical research accomplished by Duke investigators and study teams. Specifically, Jamie is responsible for convening and directing the Trial Innovation Network local Hub Liaison Team (TIN HLT), managing the new Get Data @ Duke Program, and overseeing the expansion of the Duke CTSI local Recruitment Innovation Center. Jamie provides direction to the TIN HLT by because of her experience as a Clinical Trial Recruitment Specialist in the extramural division of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) where she developed and managed a system to collect real-time enrollment data from most of the studies funded by NINDS and served as a recruitment resource to NINDS grant awardees. Jamie manages the Get Data @ Duke Program because of her experience as a project manager at the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative (CTTI) here at Duke. Finally, Jamie is helping to stand-up the local Recruitment Innovation Center through operations and management oversight because experience obtained as the Director of Recruitment for the NINDS-funded Carotid Revascularization Endarterectomy vs. Stenting Trial (CREST), as well as nursing, clinical research coordination, protocol development, project management and medical writing over the past 25 years.
