Nikita will be joining CTSI in September 2018 as a clinical research coordinator with the Primary Care Research Consortium. Prior to working at CTSI, Nikita worked with Duke Early Phase Research Unit and Duke General Internal Medicine on a variety of different projects spanning multiple therapeutic areas, including neurology, cardiology, nephrology and healthy volunteer studies. Her main responsibilities included managing and recruiting participants for these industry-sponsored, government-sponsored and PI-initiated studies.
Before coming to Duke, Nikita worked as a coordinator Brigham and Women’s Hospital in her home state of Massachusetts. She graduated from Union College with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, and a minor is psychology. Here, she was involved in undergraduate research studying the impact of physical and mental exercise on executive function, and was also able to travel to Ireland under her professor’s Fulbright Scholarship.
