Mr. Steele manages the annual follow-up effort for MURDOCK Study participants by overseeing the distribution and intake of participant annual follow-up information after initial enrollment. He also works closely with the database development team to develop and test new database capabilities and system tools used by TransPop staff and participants.
A native of Kannapolis, Mr. Steele received his undergraduate education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Analysis and a minor in music. He stays involved with the local community by serving as a member of the Kannapolis Planning and Zoning Commission and chairman of the Design Committee for Downtown Kannapolis Incorporated.
Prior to joining CTSI, Mr. Steele worked closely with the marketing director of the North Carolina Research Campus. He joined the team in January 2009 as a staff assistant.
