Elexa is joining Duke CTSI this September as a Clinical Research Specialist, Sr. for the Duke Primary Care Research Consortium. She will be monitoring and assisting with various studies, and is eager to work with such a dynamic team.
Previously, Elexa has worked as a Clinical Research Specialist, Sr. for the Duke Center for Smoking Cessation. In this position she ran study visits and recruited participants from multiple clinics in effort to assist people in quitting smoking.
Elexa is also a recent Duke graduate. She graduated in May of 2017, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with High Distinction and minors in Biology and Chemistry. She is currently applying to medical school and is excited to be back in the Durham area.
