Ms. Clark is the Grants & Contracts Manager for the Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute. She joined CTSI in 2016 after 17 years of research administration experience, six years working with investigators in academic clinical research at Duke University, and 11 years working with computer scientists at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She manages the CTSI financial portfolio for federal, state, foundation, and internal Duke-funded sources. She is also responsible for CTSI budget development meetings, financial monitoring for the CTSI, and research compliance. She helps handle the annual ECRT (Effort Certification) process, effort allocations and changes, and School of Medicine budget process, as well as develop new process improvements for the finance team.
