As Associate Dean for Clinical Research for Duke University School of Medicine, Ms. Snyder is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing processes, systems, educational programs, and other activities central to supporting clinical research at Duke and leading the Duke Office for Clinical Research (DOCR). She has developed a research operations team, manages the development of business processes that provide a foundation for the Clinical Trial Management System and the newly implemented electronic health record, oversees the implementation of the clinical research education and communications team, and leads the Research Practice Manager and Clinical Research IT committees where applicable to the research community. 

Ms. Snyder has been the project manager for 5 federally-sponsored grants including three R01s (NCI), one Duke Claude Pepper Older Americans Independence Center Intervention Development project (NIA), one R21(NCI), and the project architect for a U-level cancer supplement for the NIH funded PROMIS study. In 2008, she used her research and institutional experience to create the Research Management Team (RMT) in order to aid School of Nursing faculty with improving implementation of their research. She currently leads a team of more than 30 research professionals who are trained in regulatory, data, and research management support.
