Trustworthy Translation – Stories of Today, Visions of Tomorrow
A one-day symposium to bring together researchers, educators, students, health professionals, and community partners to share practical examples of how knowledge can be translated into action that improves health and well-being. The program emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, professions, institutions, and communities, recognizing that meaningful impact depends on trust, shared expertise, and sustained partnerships

Participation is open to Duke, North Carolina Central University (NCCU), and Durham Technical Community College faculty, staff, and students, as well as community-based organizations and community partners. Individuals at all career stages and organizational roles are encouraged to participate.
Collaborative, trustworthy, evidence-based science is essential for improving health care across the globe. The Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) and the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) are committed to fostering a community of researchers and research practices that will advance innovative medical treatments and health care for all.
This symposium celebrates 20 years since the first Duke Clinical and Translational Science Award and 30 years since the launch of the Duke Clinical Research Institute.
