Duke CTSI is accepting concept proposals for the National Institutes of Health’s High Impact Specialized Innovation Programs (SIP RC2), which support novel approaches to overcoming barriers in clinical and translational science. As a Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) hub, Duke may submit up to two applications for this competitive funding opportunity (PAR-25-156).
Faculty with full-time appointments are invited to submit 2-page concept proposals by December 1, 2025. Selected applicants will be notified by January 2, 2026, and supported in preparing full proposals for the May 28, 2026 NIH deadline.
Projects should align with CTSA goals and demonstrate potential for broad dissemination across CTSA hubs.
Priority areas include digital health, AI/machine learning, decentralized trials, genomics, and community engagement. Cross-disciplinary and multi-institutional collaborations, especially with North Carolina Central University, are strongly encouraged.
CTSI will provide administrative support for selected teams throughout the submission process.
