Salimah El-Amin, DrPH, serves as the assistant director for the CCHT pillar. In this role, she provides thought leadership and strategic support across CTSI, contributing to research-focused initiatives that strengthen collaboration and community impact. Prior to this position, she led large-scale organizational initiatives at Strategic Education, Inc. She also previously worked at Duke University from 2015–2018 in the Samuel DuBois Cook Center.

Dr. El-Amin brings 20 years of experience leading cross-functional teams, managing projects, conducting research, teaching, and improving organizational systems and processes. She holds a Doctor of Public Health from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Master of Public Health from Drexel University.
