Sydney Sullivan, MPH

A native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Sydney joined the CTSI in December 2019. Sydney primarily serves in a project manager role for the Community Engaged Research Network (CPRN) at Duke and a PCORI-funded initiative assessing antibiotic prescribing for children with common upper respiratory infections. She also works with the Center for Research, Community Engagement, Social Impact, and Trust (CREST) at the CTSI under the direction of K.K. Lam, PhD.
Prior to joining CTSI, Sydney worked as a consultant for Bohn Epidemiology where she collaborated with stakeholders to help produce manuscripts for several global pharmaceutical and biotechnical companies that required both strategic and project-focused work. Additionally, she helped enforce protocol and study report designs while assessing project work of other consultants.
Sydney earned her Master of Public Health from George Washington University and her Bachelor of Arts from Spelman College.
