Invented at Duke Event Includes CTSI as Featured Resource

The fifth annual Invented at Duke event featured CTSI and the CTSI Accelerator team as a resource for funding, expertise, and logistics to help translate Duke science from discovery to deployment.

Held Nov. 28 at Penn Pavilion and organized by the Duke Office for Translation and Commercialization, Invented at Duke connected inventors, faculty, entrepreneurs, and students with internal and external resources that support invention and innovation.

“We were thrilled to participate in Invented at Duke as one of 21 featured resources that support innovators at Duke,” said Eman Ghanem, PhD, who attended as a CTSI Accelerator team member. “We shared information on how CTSI resources and services can support research teams on their journey from bench to bedside.”

The event drew more than 300 people from across the Triangle to celebrate Duke inventors and innovation. Nine inventor booths showcased new technologies including medical devices, a smart toilet, metamaterial computer chips, and more.

CTSI Accelerator team members at the event also included Promila Pagadala, PhD and Tarun Saxena, PhD.
