Emily Ford joined Duke CTSI in September 2014. As a communicator, she works with the community engagement and study teams based at Duke Kannapolis, the CTSI research site located on the North Carolina Research Campus. She also supports the CTSI Communications infrastructure. She has a background in journalism.
Stephanie Freel, PhD, PMP
Stephanie Freel, PhD, PMP, is the Director of Clinical Research Operations, Education and Outreach in the Duke Office of Clinical Research (DOCR) and Interim Director of Strategy and Innovation in the Duke Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI).
Dr. Freel leads the Duke Workforce Engagement and Resilience (WE-R) Initiatives, which include: clinical research job classification; hiring optimization; standardized onboarding and continuing education; apprenticeship, internship, and career pathways development; and clinical research professionalism and engagement.

Eman joins the Duke CTSI Accelerator team after a six-year tenure as Director of Programs at Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, where she provided leadership and direction for the planning, execution, and evaluation of a broad array of programs. Prior to Sigma Xi, Eman was Co-Director of the Freshman Research Initiative (FRI) program at The University of Texas-Austin, where she also served as the Research Educator for the Supramolecular Sensors Stream.
Kristine Glauber, PhD
Kristine coordinates programming for a number of groups in the Duke Office of Research Initiatives, including the Mobile App Gateway, the Research Navigators, and Research Onboarding. She'll also helps develop and implement programs related to Team Science. Kristine comes to CTSI by way of the University of California, Irvine, where she completed her PhD in Biochemistry. Since then she has had an eclectic mix of professional experiences in education, community health, program coordination, marketing, and communications.

Isabella Grezzi, BSN, RN, is a clinical research nurse coordinator with the OneDukeGen study, an initiative within the Center for Precision Health. Before joining CTSI, Isabella was a clinical nurse in the Duke Heart Center and served as cardiac monitoring champion for her unit.
William "Ed" Hammond II, PhD
Professor in Family Medicine and Community Health
Main areas of interest include computer-based medical records, hospital information systems, national and international standards, artificial intelligence, networking and computerization in ambulatory care.
Primary Care Research Consortium
Chad joined CTSI in November 2020. He works with PCRC as a Clinical Research Coordinator supporting several studies within the Duke Primary Care Clinics. Before coming to Duke, Chad worked at the UNC Cancer Center Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic where he worked in the outpatient clinic to schedule all of the pre- and post-transplant appointments. Chad earned a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA from East Carolina University.
