Join us for a virtual research town hall to learn about the latest sponsor requirements and available research support services for successfully obtaining and managing research grants. Leaders from across Duke's research support offices will discuss recent federal sponsor updates, including the NIH Public Access requirement, NIH policy for foreign subrecipients, and National Science Foundation SciENcv biosketch requirements. Duke experts will speak on when and how to seek prior approval, demonstrate setting up a LabArchives electronic laboratory notebook, discuss the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy and provide an overview of the Simplified Review Framework for NIH Research Project Grant Applications. We will end with a myRESEARCHhome orientation to the research data funding website and a facilitated discussion. Attending this event fulfills the RCR-200 requirement for Faculty and Staff as well as the 714 RCR credit for graduate students, but participants must attend for at least 60 minutes to receive credit.
