REGISTRATION: Click Here NOTE: Please register ahead of the event. Are you looking to improve your data management practices or meet funder and publisher requirements for data sharing? Join us for a comprehensive workshop on Resources for Managing and Sharing Data at Duke, where we will explore key strategies and tools to help you effectively plan, manage, and share your research data. This session will provide an update on the Research Data section of the Research Policy Manual as well as the coordinated effort - the Compute & Data Services Alliances for Research (CDSA) - that is in place to help you navigate the practical aspects of implementing your research as well as Duke policy. Duke University Library resources will present how Duke ScholarWorks can help you promote greater reach and impact for your scholarship as well as how the Center for Data Visualization Sciences can support your data management planning and sharing efforts. Lastly, we will hear from researchers on their first-hand experience sharing their data in the Duke Research Data Repository, tips and tricks for managing qualitative data, and how to quality control your manuscripts prior to submitting them. Join us for a research town hall where faculty and staff experts in research data present some key resources for managing data at Duke. Attending this event fulfills the RCR-200 requirement for Faculty and Staff as well as the 714 RCR credit for graduate students, but participants must attend for at least 60 minutes to receive credit.
