
The next Virtual Research Town Hall will feature CTSI faculty directors and staff who have expertise in community-engaged research and partnership building.
The Duke Office of Scientific Integrity will present “Building Partnerships into Research” from 2-3:30 p.m. Feb. 26. This event for Duke faculty, staff, and students aims to foster collaboration and strengthen partnerships both within the Duke community and beyond. Register with Duke credentials.
An expert panel will discuss successful research partnerships and how they can strengthen research and provide opportunities for fresh ideas. The event will highlight the importance of collaboration in advancing research and explore how partnerships at Duke and with external partners can fuel innovation.
The panel includes:
- Bryan Batch, MD, MHS, faculty director for the Duke-NCCU Bridge Office
- John Mitchell, PhD, faculty director for the Community Partnered Research Network
- Amalia Turner, PhD, education and training coordinator for Team Science
- Lisa Davis, PhD, MSPH, director of operations for the Duke-NCCU Bridge Office
- Kenisha Bethea, MPH, research program leader for the Community Engaged Research Initiative
Monica Lemmon, MD, associate dean for scientific integrity, will moderate the program. Attending this event fulfills the RCR-200 requirement for faculty and staff, as well as the 714 RCR credit for graduate students.
