The Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) catalyzes and accelerates the innovation and translation of scientific discoveries into health benefits for patients and communities through collaborative research. Our NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) funding enables us to offer programs, project management and navigator services, and data sharing and informatics resources that provide essential support to move ideas from the laboratory through early-phase clinical trials and facilitate education for current and future translational medicine researchers. For more information, visit our homepage.
CTSI offers a wide variety of training and funding opportunities, as well as research and support services.
We focus on leveraging the vast research resources at Duke University and facilitating collaborations that provide or enhance the research ecosystem, education, and resources needed to take promising ideas from concept, through development and testing, and into patient care.

CTSI Education and Workforce Development supports the advancement of the next generation of interdisciplinary research leaders, offering an evolving portfolio of workforce development opportunities to address the training needs of a range of learners—from staff to students to faculty.
