Our workshop will navigate through key concepts and practical strategies to foster a more inclusive and just research environment. Participants will explore the concepts of race, racism, anti-racism, and racial equity and practical tools for promoting equity in the workplace, classroom, and community. The presenters will introduce the 5Ws of Racial Equity in Research Framework and address questions researchers and institutions should explore as they work to infuse equity in all phases of the research process and within research environments. This workshop will equip participants with actionable strategies to actively advance racial equity. • The workshop is ideal for faculty, research staff, trainees, students, and community researchers who seek to develop more equitable research. • Participants who attend for more than 60 minutes are also eligible to receive RCR-200 credit. • Offering 1 Continuing Education Credits: ANCC, Attendance, JA Credit - AH through Duke Continuing Medical Education.
