Christina Faison joined the CTSI in November 2021 as a Senior Clinical Research Specialist with Duke Primary Care clinics. Her introduction to Duke Health began in 2009 when she became involved in hematology research, in what is now known as the Apixiban drug study through a mentorship program through the NC School of Science and Mathematics. 

Prior to joining CTSI, Ms. Faison worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Inpatient Operations Pharmacy team coordinating and maintaining more than 200 Universal Code Carts throughout the Duke Health System, including 15 in off-site clinics. An extra focus was given to assisting the nursing staff with Code Cart training opportunities by creating additional practice carts for the Department of Clinical Education & Professional Development, as well as creating a training module based around the contents of the carts. 

A resident of Durham, North Carolina, Ms. Faison holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill.
