Donna Hamel has over 20 years combined experience in both clinical and academic settings. Her combined Laboratory and clinical research have afforded her experience in Good Clinical Practice, Good Laboratory Practice and Good Research Practice. Her current role at the Duke Early Phase Research Unit (DEPRU) as a Project Leader focuses on providing support to Principal Investigators and their study teams who partner with DEPRU for the conduct of their research projects. Additionally, as a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner with vast experience in cardio-respiratory medicine, Donna also manages the DEPRU Pulmonary Function laboratory. She supports the clinical operations functions of the CTSA's Participant Clinical Interactions (PCI) Core.
